Training sessions in football are designed to improve players skills.
Football, known as soccer in some countries, is a globally popular sport that involves two teams of eleven players each competing to score goals by getting a ball into the opposing team's net. The game is played on a rectangular field with a goal at each end.
Objective :
The primary goal is to score more goals than the opponent. A goal is scored when the entire ball crosses the goal line between the goalposts and under the crossbar.
Game Duration :
A standard match is played in two halves of 45 minutes each, with a 15-minute halftime break. In knockout stages of tournaments, if the match ends in a draw, extra time (two halves of 15 minutes each) may be played, and if necessary, a penalty shootout.
Offside Rule :
A player is in an offside position if they are nearer to the opponents goal line than both the ball and the second-last opponent when the ball is played to them. Being in an offside position is not an offense in itself, but the player can be penalized if they become involved in active play.
Fouls and Free Kicks :
Fouls are committed for actions such as tripping, pushing, or holding an opponent. Depending on the severity, free kicks (direct or indirect) or penalty kicks (for fouls within the penalty area) are awarded.
Yellow and Red Cards :
A yellow card is a warning for misconduct. A second yellow card or a serious foul results in a red card, which means the player is sent off, and their team plays with one less player.
